Effect of Recycled Aggregate Modification on the Properties of Permeable Asphalt Concrete

This study aims to evaluate the pavement performance of permeable asphalt concrete (PAC) produced with modified recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) based on six types single modification methods and three double methods. Firstly, water absorption, apparent density, crushing value RCA before after were tested. Subsequently, PAC these was investigated, including optimum asphalt-aggregate ratio, stability, high-temperature performance, low-temperature crack. The test results show that physical properties improved some extent owing adopted, except absorption RCA-C RCA-PC increased by 33.5% 32.6%, respectively, compared RCA. increase in attributed high cement mortar.
